I've had the privilege of knowing the
Lee family for a couple years now. My husband knows Jon from work and I
have gotten to know Kate more and more as we are able to catch up and
chat each week at church. Emerson and Laurel were the perfect models-
not shy in front of the camera one bit! Hope you enjoy seeing a few of
my favorites from their family session!

{Taylor Rachel: Newborn}
You may remember the Ford's maternity session back in May. Well, Miss Taylor Rachel graced us with her presence on the evening of July 3rd and let me tell you what... it does not get much sweeter!
Today's session was special to me, not only because I was taking pictures for one of my dearest friends here and her amazingly beautiful and precious family, but also because I was working alongside Stephanie, a mutual friend of both Cambrie and myself. Stephanie and I have been bonding and chatting about all things photography for the past few months, so it was so fun to finally do a session together.
I hope you enjoy these sweet pictures of an even sweeter family. Welcome to the world, Taylor!
And there is no better way to end the session than with kisses from big sister!

{Harper: One Year!}
So there have been a lot of photography firsts for me this week, including this smash cake session for Miss Harper. Harper is my friend Megan's niece (remember her session?).
We were all a little curious and anxious to see how Harper would respond to the cake. We all had a few tricks up our sleeves if she decided she wasn't going to partake, but thankfully she didn't need any help from us. She loved it!
This session was so fun and face paced- those are my favorite!! I can't wait for the next smash cake session!
And I just wanted to give HUGE thank you to my friend Stephanie for graciously opening up her home to us for this photo shoot! The lighting was so perfect! :) And a shout-out to Jill who made the smash cake. Not only was it a gorgeous cake, but it was absolutely delicious! In fact, we may or may not have grabbed forks and ate some too! ;)
Yep, it was that good...

{The Neil Family}
Yesterday I had the joy of taking family and newborn pictures for the Neil Family. Doug, Jacque, Emma, and Rider make such a beautiful family! Rider is such a cutie and is just barely one week new!
Since it was my first time to ever shoot a session with a newborn, I was nervous. But Jacque was wonderful and so encouraging! We had a great session and it was fun to spend time with everyone and take some photos in between some equally fun events like a tea party with Emma, snacking on some delicious fruit, and talking about life. I hope the pictures from this session portray what a sweet family Doug and Jacque have!
